Going off of the Big Bang Theory (yes, the scientific one), the universe started from a singularity: a dense, hot point.
How did it get there in the first place though? This is one of the questions that I know will most likely always be unanswered, but it’s insane to think about. Assume that it literally started from nothing. You can’t, right? You truly cannot visualize in your mind what “nothing” looks like. “Nothing” doesn’t exist, so it had to start from “something”.
Even then, it still makes zero sense. Because if there was “something” that the singularity and thus the Big Bang came from, where did that something originate? Using a higher power or god as an example doesn’t make sense either, because technically, wouldn’t they have been created too? They couldn’t have possibly come from nothing. #explainthatChristians (joking)
But yeah I hope I’m not the only one who ponders those things. As much as it puzzles me, it fascinates me. Existence is CRAZY
Edit: please respond with anything that makes you feel this way. I love exploring thoughts 🖤
Another edit: Thank you all for helping me think of even MORE possibilities! I want to clear up that despite what I said, I believe that everything is possible because it is unknown. Just because it doesn’t make any sense, doesn’t mean that it’s automatically wrong. I believe in a higher power because I find it makes more sense than there not being one.
