I feel like I’m doing everything right — but life keeps slapping me in the face

12 hours ago 8

I’m 29. Married. Working in tech. Saving since I was 21. Never partied hard. Never wasted money. Did everything “by the book.”

And yet… I can’t breathe. Rent is insane. Groceries feel like luxury. Trying to start a family, and I’m terrified just thinking about daycare costs.

My parents had half my salary, and lived twice as well. I don’t want to leave my country. I love it. But it’s starting to feel like my country doesn’t love me back.

I’m not here to complain — just needed to let this out. And if anyone else feels like they’re drowning while everyone around them is “thriving” on Instagram — just know you’re not alone.

I stopped waiting for things to get better. I found a small digital system that runs quietly from my phone — no showing my face, no selling anything. It won’t make me a millionaire, but it gave me room to breathe.

Not sharing this to brag. Just in case someone out there needs that first step too:

Hang in there. You deserve better than this stress.
