I’m a 27 year old man, average weight and 5’7 with a shaved head, who has had multiple relationships and I’ve had women in general be attracted to me.
However, if I’m to believe the online discourse, a man with my “disadvantages” should never be given a second glance.
The one thing I will say is once I lost about 60 lbs I noticed more outright attention, but even before that I wasn’t invisible, even though I was less confident and less likely to engage.
I feel silly for asking such a question. But in the modern world it seems apt. My real life experience is so different from what is espoused online, regarding men’s body standards, that I don’t know what to believe anymore.
