I realized my thinking is very past-focused. It's out of habit. I think it's accurate to say "I worry about the past". I can get into the present sometimes, usually if I'm lost in exercise or some activity. But the future is not something I end up thinking much.
I definitely used to think about my future. I'd scheme and dream. That dwindled over time and it seems like I should be able to bring that back.
Are there practices or philosophies? And books, if they're real bangers.
Do you find yourself thinking about the future? Planning? Scheming in a hopeful optimistic way?
How you doin' that?
