How can I (17M) get a girlfriend?

Hey everyone,

I’m 17 years old, introverted, and I feel like it’s time to try to get a girlfriend, but I’m not sure where to start. I don’t have many hobbies, and I don’t think I’m particularly good-looking, so I’m feeling a bit unsure about how to approach this.

Here are some of the things I’ve been wondering:

• How can I start a conversation with a girl without making it awkward? I’m not the best at talking to people, especially girls.
• I don’t have any hobbies that I’m passionate about. Is that something that makes it harder to connect with someone?
• How can I tell if a girl is interested in me?
• How do I work on my confidence? Being introverted, I can be quite shy, and it’s hard for me to put myself out there.

I’d love to hear some advice or personal experiences from people who might have been in a similar situation. I’m ready to make some changes, but I just need some guidance on how to start.
