Have you witnessed karma? Did that change your perspective of being a decent human?

Just curious at the kind of karma redditors have witnessed and if any of you decided that you will be a decent one unless someone has ill intentions against you?

I’ll start with one. I went abroad for pre college and my host agent turned their backs against me in favour of another local that went together with me (I was denied housing at their place). I was left alone in that situation not knowing what to do but I eventually packed my bags to return (very foolish but what’s done is done). Many moons later, the host couple had a divorce. Their marriage was sweet loving with beautiful kids in a beautiful place.

Not sure if that counts as karma but being abandoned without any help, i felt a tinge of happiness but majority sadness that their family is now broken.

Taught me the life motto to be genuine to all but scheme against those that has ill intentions against me (self defence)
