Have you made any real life friends on reddit?

I've chatted with a few people based on connecting comments in similar sub reddit. Very few people though do I really click with, and none of them have turned into long term friendship. I'm baffled because I see lots of people like me who are wanting friends, but we just never seem to get to that stage. If we can't make friends in the real world, are we still just unable to make any online friends?
