For example, someone could take a real life account of an event and word it like a novel chapter and trick the expert into believing it is a work of fiction, possibly even an obscure or lost work by a known author. Let them analyze it until they are absolutely sure they know what all the symbolism and such is that was intended by the author. For example, they know that when the main character falls into the river from a bridge it likely represented such and such thing from society, or whatever symbolism, and so on.
Then tell them it was a non-fiction story. There is no symbolism. When such and such character fell off a bridge, that's just what happened. It didn't symbolize anything.
Just curious if this has ever happened and how it turned out?
