Deporting Critics of Israel Is Just the First Step – Citizens Are Next

America is supposed to be the land of free speech, but this suggests otherwise. People are being deported simply for criticizing Israel, a foreign country. Some might dismiss it because it’s only affecting international students or visa holders, but that’s just the beginning. They are testing the water seeing how people will react. They are using minorities such as Muslims as scapegoat. There’s many white/asian/african visa holders who criticize Israel why aren’t they getting deported? If the public remains silent, the government will feel confident to take even more extreme actions eventually targeting actual U.S. citizens.

It might sound far-fetched now, but history has shown how repression escalates. First, they silence the easiest targets those with the least legal protection, like immigrants and Muslims. Then, they expand their reach. Before long, Americans could face arrests or legal consequences simply for refusing to support or fight in a war that benefits Israel.

When that war comes and it will it won’t be fought for American interests, but for Israel’s. And who will be sent to die for it? American men. This is how it starts: with small, strategic crackdowns on dissent, using scapegoats to normalize authoritarian measures. By the time people realize what’s happening, it will be too late.
