Debunk this for me please

I am not one to believe conspiracies however this one hit different, Britain was running out of money in ww1 in 1916, so they wanted to seek help from Jewish communities and mainly the Rothschilds, by making the belfour declaration, this isn't a conspiracy because there is a letter from belfour to lord Rothschild in the Rothschild archives, the conspiracy part is that the Rothschilds are the reason why the us entered the war, I know that the reason why they entered the war was due to the message of Germany to Mexico which was intercepted however why would germany which couldn't establish naval supremacy against the royal navy for a second think that it's a good idea to ask mexico to attack the world's biggest economy? So the conspiracy is that the Rothschilds faked the message or something like that. Now I am not asking someone to debunk this because I love the Rothschilds or hate the Germans, no not at all, in fact I wish this is true but I really want someone to fact check me before I truly believe it.

Btw I am not even sure that this sub is the right one for theories to be debunked(it's probably the opposite) however I tried to post this on the history sub but those mods removed in 1 minute because they thought I was spreading misinformation while in reality I wanted someone to tell me why this isn't true and I even clarified that but it is what it is.
