i just made a whole other post which is drafted just yapping about life and how i am thinking about what ima do after high school.I got carried away writing that but what i really wanted to talk about im on shrooms rn and overthinking abt so much stuff but i want to talk abt daft punk ive never made a reddit post but here i am just idk yapping on shrooms kinda sad ofc but I put on "GIve life back to music"by daft punk a song i been listening to for a long time and omg .I loved daft punk for so long and I always loved the vibes they bring to their songs and this one just gets to me!!! the whole song is good i love it.The part that i love the most rn on the shrooms is at 3:15 in the song this outro is so beautiful.I am a drummer and tbh idc about vocals at all on a song if the bass and drums are good im loving the song.So really thats what i look for in any music and daft punk executes it so fucking good ,especially in this song.When i listen to this song it bring genuine happiness and im posting this because ik I am off shrooms rn but I PROMISE you I will say the same thing sober daft punks music is genuinely a drug it brings me happiness and thats what i love about them.They are so good at what they do it makes me wonder to myself will anyone ever really top them as my favorite artist.im 18 i first heard get lucky from a parody like around 10 years ago and around the world was another one i heard just randomly wasnt a parody .I never actually started listenign to them until I started gaining like real life conscience in like middle scholl and started to figure out what music i really like.I have a single playlist i play a song and let spotify choose the rest after i fr listen to whatever whenever.but as someone who listens to whatever random stuff one thing i know always loved is daft punk they were always someone i put on when i wasnt tryna listen to whatever just something about them i love idk what, i know each album is different and i love each things about them that makes them different im not saying i like every single song on the album (NO FAN EVER likes every single song of ANY artist they are just glazing and they know it)but i damn near like over half of the songs on Every album and that qualifys for me as being my favorite artist,but that where i get to my last thing and why i even wanted to make this post.do you think there will ever be someone that makes such a big difference like how daft punk did.I try to find people like them that sound like them and try to find the same vibes i get with their music in other and I NEVER CAN they are something i cant explain.i actually can i can and will drop a full video explaining why i like every sing daft punk song that i like but rly they just bring vibes i cant or can explaing that really i think no one else can replicate. in this thread im all over the place ik asking and stating but i ask again,who are some people you guys think are as good as them and do what they do?and idk im kinda sad thinking thinking ima be listening to all their music knwoing they are done and i will always be stuck on them.Maybe thats why i love them so much because even after they stopped making music they still bring cheer and happiness with the music they did make.but ima say again cuz i cant explain how much it mean to me when i say it makes me sad knowing there will never be more daft punk just thinking about if they make more music how happy i will be but yes we have to accept and sadlt i dont want to but i do there will never be music that hits like them and i hate it i absolutely do.once again this is me off shroom think of this post as the homie talking to himself after getting super high and just yapping to himself cuz i dont excpect snyone to rly care abt this
