Cutting ppl off to grind is a bad idea

The grind was amazing for me. Finally in my career and feel accomplished there. But there are ppl I felt I strongly needed to let go along the way bc I outgrew them but now it feels like I’m starting from scratch with friendships and it sucks. Once you reach the career goals you will be looking for the social aspect of life again. Those ppl cared about me but it was very difficult to talk/ be around them back then. I wish I knew to just lighten up around them and not be so strict. Maybe keep distance so I’m not thrown off from goals but I should have been a better friend. End rant
