Hi! I'm looking for contemporary children books that either use the motif of death or cover the death in one way or another (it can be a death of an animal, of a human, or of any other being). My only wish is for the books to be written by American/English writers.
My examples from the classic children's literature are Charlotte's Web and Black Beauty, so any suggestions along those lines will be welcomed as well.
