Confused

I just turned 18 not too long ago. It’s getting to a point where I have to choose a career I would like to go into. Sometimes I feel like I have a clear understanding of what I would want. But yet sometimes it just seems like I don’t want that life. For example I would like to be a welder and travel. But I would also like to stay home too and not break my self for money. Some days I feel like I really know what I want in life. While others I feel like an empty bored burden. I just feel like I can’t decide what I want at all. Every decision is so confusing. In the end, i’m scared.
