compliments make me cryy

i don't really cry but dam i never realize how insecure i am until i'm complimented. my friends all tell me i'm super attractive but i just think of it as friends being nice. i met this guy who compliments me so much. like he tells me im perfect and says every bullet point that makes me perfect & when he looks at me while saying this i just kiss him so he doesn't stare at me too long bc i just don't see it. idk how to fix this problem. but he is definitely helping build my confidence because he's super attractive so it means a lot. and when he said this last time, i said oh stop. and he said no i need you to know how perfect and beautiful you are and you need to own it. but idk how to own it when i don't believe it.

does anyone feel this way?
