Am I the only person who had experienced this?

3 days ago 12

Throughout my life, in undergrad, grad school I have been a part of large group of friends. Over time, there have been fights and I have had an issue with 1/2 people which has snowballed into multiple people having issues with me, and then I stop talking to them. I realize there’s not much I can do now, and they way the situations have snowballed, there’s no way of going back to how things were. I realize my mistakes in these situations, however what bugs me is when my friends, interact with the those people(the one’s that I had an issue with in the past). I have now realized how to deal with people and I won’t repeat my mistakes, however these people go around telling everyone that they have had an issue with me. This creates a negative perception of me in new people’s minds. I feel like everyone is somehow connected and I have ruined my chances of having a good life. Sometimes my friends hide that they are making plans with them… I realize that they are going to interact irrespective of my personal issues. Has someone else experienced such situations in life, or its just me. Everyone on instagram seems to have the greatest friends, and here I am having caused issues everywhere! Wish I was better back then!
