21st century Authors who didn't study anything related to literature/ journalism etc yet ended up being succesful published authors?

all my favorite authors seemed to have gone to college for literature or were surrounded by authors all thier lives etc, and as an aspiring author who is in medicine, I find it really encouraging to see someone who was/is in the same situation as I am.
