Hey, i’m interested in your opinion about old tales as bedtime stories, one of the most popular fairy tale books is by Grimm Brothers written in 1812, do you read them as bedtime stories?
Some of the popular and original ones have quite brutal elements, such as pigeons pecking eyes out of the stepsisters in Cinderella etc. In Europe it seems that people embrace those harsher elements more than in US. When i was a kid i was told the original stories, and i don’t really remember any of them having negative effects, what are your thoughts?
