Writers who worked ordinary jobs unrelated to writing

Hey everyone, so I'm a 26 y.o. guy. I'm working as a bartender while I get my degree in social work. My aim is to eventually do work with either refugees or family violence. That said, I've been a big reader my whole life. My two favourite authors of all time are Franz Kafka and Charlotte Bronte. I also like George Orwell a whole lot. Anyways, recently I've gotten a tick that I need to write something. It came to me during a uni class. Considering my schedule I basically have full-time hours. I was thinking of starting with short stories while I'm a student. I'm wondering if there are anymore writers who were working class that I could use as inspiration. I've literally never done anything related to fiction writing before except in English class 10 years ago.

I am aware that Kafka worked as an insurance officer and wrote into the night. However, I'm looking for some more writers who worked ordinary full-time jobs while they wrote. I often find that working class people write more interesting stories, like Sayaka Murata compared to Sally Rooney for example. I'm looking for some more that I can use as inspiration while I'm working full-time hours.
