Will the USD and CAD even out soon? Or will the USD come down at all?

I’m in Canada and I want to buy a collectable. The collectable is worth $1300 CAD. I have someone who will sell it to me for $900 USD….which is 1284 CAD….so will the dollar even out soon? Even if it goes back down to 1.30:1 that would be fine. What do you think will happen?
