Where do YOU normally go to buy a real Christmas tree?

At the of last year’s holiday season, we decided to retire our artificial Christmas tree. My daughter has always wanted a real tree so we’d like to take advantage of this opportunity before investing in our next “forever tree”. From what I’ve tethered, trees have gone way up in price from what I remember and I would hate to sacrifice the quality of the tree for affordability. So I’m looking for a place that you would consider reliable and the price you spent on your 7’-8’ tree. Also any advice on what things you look for while choosing a tree is kindly appreciated.
