A few years ago, someone told me,"Always keep a spoon in you bag". At the time, I thought it was the most random, useless advice ever. Fast forward to today-I can't tell you how many times that spoon has saved me from flimsy plastic cutlery disasters,impromptu yogurt cravings, or even serving as an emergency tool for things it definitely wasn't designed for.

It got me thinking: life is full of these bizarre nuggets of wisdom that sounds ridiculous at first, but later, you're like, "oh, they were onto somthing."
