![]() | This sort of rhetoric has been posted a few times before, but I think it’s important to remember. I understand that this picture is pretty juvenile, but the point still stands. We’ve all seen Pepe the frog memes, which clearly represents Kek, the Egyptian god of night and darkness (political chaos). Trump was literally memed into power in 2016 latching onto a party that was desperate for strong leadership after Obama’s term. Trump has made a few good choices (immigration stance, social identity issues, easy wins), sure, but there’s usually some good mixed in with evil; it’s easier to swallow when it’s coated in sugar. He appeals to lower intelligence voters, often culturally religious, who are easily riled up due to a myriad of issues; the biggest one was years of being discarded and treated as “deplorables” and others. Others who voted for Trump did so out of pure hatred of the other side of the same coin; people are absolutely sick of the social justice garbage, which is understandable. Lastly, Trump is an amalgamation of the liberal mutation onset of Western imperial decay. He is not far right nor is he in any way a conservative, and the people who romanticize him are, as a majority, just obsessed cultists. There are some fascistic nationalists that attach themselves to the movement, but I see this as a way to accelerate and not a way to represent their party. If they were real right wingers, they’d agree all J6 rioters should’ve met the same fate as Babbit, but I digress. [link] [comments] |
