The circle of life is a bummer

Yes it’s also beautiful and all that. But also a bummmmmer. Like when Sir David Attenborough is narrating and all of a sudden a beautiful zebra gets taken down and eaten by lions but you’re rooting for the zebra but understand the lion cubs gotta eat.

Just saw a wild cat with a beautiful red male cardinal in her mouth, she had him tucked in sideways and he was squawking gently for his life, for freedom as she ran off with him.

I just feel weird and bummed out by seeing that. I know it happens all the time, but ugh what a bummer
