Study finds nearly 4 million pre-mature lung cancer deaths in US averted and 76 million years of lives gained due to reductions in smoking driven by tobacco control. Despite these, lung cancer is still leading cause of cancer death in US, and smoking-attributable morbidity and mortality remain high.
