As I climb up the ladder in my career I am seeing that it is more about networks, relationships, nepotism, cronyism, and you name it rather than actual skill. It's frustrating because that's not how I was raised. I value skill and hard work more than anything. I'm not the most talkative person and I'm highly introverted. How can I still succeed in this arena?
