Random vent about flies!

I have issue with flies! I leave the door open for them to leave . But for some reason they can’t seem to finding the opening to get out! They act like they want to leave, but will fly above the door or away from the open door. Now, I have to spray this fly unnecessarily! Because the fly doesn’t want to leave my home. Why are flies like this lol
