Nobody finds your hobbies as cool as you do.

Title is self explanatory. I have many hobbies and skills which I have honed over the course of many years and can say without a doubt, nobody gives a shit. I’m not coming from a place of arrogance in that “I’m so great why doesn’t anybody appreciate the hard work I’ve put into this.” I’m saying that when you’re given the chance to demonstrate something that is important to you and that perhaps took a lot of time and effort, don’t be disappointed when they don’t give a shit. And certainly don’t let it discourage you from said interest. All in all, your life is about what makes you happy. Don’t let anyone else’s opinions sway your mind in any direction cuz they will never spend a moment in your shoes 🙃
