New moray eel discovered in Central Indo-Pacific river mouths: The Hades’ snake moray (Uropterygius hades), named after Hades, the god of the underworld, due to its unique habitat, burrowing behavior, high sensitivity to light, and most notably, its deep, dark coloration.
