Today, at 7:19 p.m. US Eastern time, Senator Cory Booker set the all-time record for a marathon speech protesting many different aspects of the second Trump administration. The speech's formal status as a filibuster is debatable because, as NPR noted, "that's not technically what Booker's speech is, since he is not trying to block a specific bill or nominee". The senior senator from New Jersey has so far yielded to multiple questions from Senate colleagues over the course of the speech.

You can watch the speech here on PBS NewsHour's YouTube channel, and find other information about it on the Wikipedia page for the speech, which is still ongoing at the time of posting.
The previous Senate speech length record was held by Strom Thurmond, at the time a Democrat from the state of South Carolina, attempting to block or delay passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1957.
