“ make and live life how you want it”- I’ve seen this many times; Easier said than done.

Like the title says. This is easy to say to somebody or post on the Internet.

This is obviously easier to do if you are loaded with money .

Even middle-class Americans get stuck in a certain rut with only so much spare time after 40 or more work week. It’s almost like it was designed this way.

We can dream how we would like to make our life, but really don’t have the time or the money to achieve it.

I have read and heard many people say “do the job you love”. Many of us could do that, but it doesn’t pay enough to live so this is to some extent nonsense unless someone else is supporting you.

Side jobs that you enjoy are great, and I have done that which were 100% my idea, but they do not, and never will 100% support my needed income level to live in America.

I envy the fact that tiny home communities are starting to pop up in America, but required special approval, and new local codes to actually make legal. As it is tiny home communities are illegal in America.

I’ve done my best to make my life simple and allow some time to do the things I enjoy. But like 75% of the other people here, there are many things I could fill my time with besides going to a job thats someone else’s company and I don’t really enjoy. That place does provide me with a livable income and healthcare which you need in America and is not free.

Wondering what others have done to achieve the title of this post, or if you have achieved it at all in all honesty it’s pretty difficult to do.🤔
