Hello everyone ! I picked up reading seriously again about 2 years ago and have been loving it but missing a bit of a social aspect. I am wondering if there are any other women who would like to add eachother on goodreads to share / compare notes and reviews.
Book clubs are also lovely but I feel can be a bit of a commitment. I am really wanting to build a lovely empowered community where we can support eachothers reading journeys!
About me: I am 25 f from Australia. I study a BA of psychological science, a degree I love but also have a diploma in counselling and am particularly interested in psychotherapy. I am drawn to darker girlcore themes and dystopien but love reading lots of different themes.
Some recent titles I enjoyed:
- Lolita - Picnic at hanging rock - Handmaids tale - The Goldfinch - The Exorcist - The Haunting of hill house - Mans search for meaning - I who have never known men - Anything Mona Awad (looking forward to her sequel to Bunny!!)
Some non fiction authors I enjoy: - Joseph Campbell - Carl Jung - Joe Dispenza - Charles Bukowski - Gabor Matè
