Is everything really this bad?

I’m 16 and have not really been exposed to the real world yet but people on this sub who are older than me seem so lost. I’m afraid that will be me. Each year you get older and old and have less and less time I feel like I’m just so lazy. I’ve never had a job or have my driving certificate thingy. Life just seems depressing after highschool and I don’t want to miss my childhood. (Be stuck in nostalgia) like moves soooo fast, idk if I’m ready.
