Instagram gore is getting out of hand

I have deactivated instagram for 2 months now, but yesterday i met my friend group and they all strted talking about gore being constantly appearing in their ig, then i opened by burner acc to check, and it was true. Just to lyk i am based in south asia, and this is not a particular country based thing but happening all over the world, I highly doubt this is normal or just a mistake by a tech giant. is this symbolism, cryptic or some message?. Are they trying normalize gore? bcs thats what we will be seeing in the future?. Are we being conditioned to handle gore?
