Just wondering what the internet's opinion on this is...
Do you think it is reasonable to skip my high school graduation which is really late (after 4th of july) so i can work at a bucket list location, that happens to be one ocean and one continent away? (time difference is +8 hours) I really want to do this, but do you think a high school graduation is REALLY Important... i can explain that since school ends in april it's ridiculous to hold it that far back... but there is a reason and it is because our final exam results and thus diplomas are not actually deliverable until july...
im not even doing the job for the money but because i'd spend the entire summer before university doing my favorite thing (hiking/backpacking) in an amazing location
i could try to do it during my freshman-sophomore summer in uni, but wouldn't i be trying to get internships (my dream is somewhere in investment banking and finance/venture fund world) so i assume those are important at every chance you have free time to stack the CVs with (i already have three professional internships under my belt though...)
i have no context for what life is going to be like, and just wondering what you think
