If you don't know what you want in life, how do you find clarity?

Everybody keeps saying you have to start thinking deeply and find out what you want in life because if you don't then life has a way to give you a meaning in which you may not like. Then one day you'll end up regretting where you are. Whether it's a job you hate doing. A relationship you don't want to be in. I'm already in my late 20s now, so I feel like I'm too old to change my circumstances. I'm in community college not sure what to pursue. I feel like my goal really is just to make good amount of money so I can be financially secure. My family is depending on me. Pretty much all of my family members have been telling me you need to pursue something higher like engineering or business. learn a high level skills. I don't know honestly
