I hate how when you work hard and do everything right and still fail in life

It flies in your face that the world is a meritocracy. It especially sucks if you are born with less talent than others, so you are always an underdog compared to everyone else. Much of our life success is determined by factors not in our control, yet society blames you if you are unsuccessful
