I got into some drama last night. Was it my fault?

I wanted to feel confident, so I made a Facebook status "Any time I've competed with another guy for a girl, I've won." A girl commented "Pure comedy gold. Looking back don’t think that’s been the case homeskillet." This is a girl who left her current boyfriend, hooked up with me, and went back to him. So I mentioned that. And then we argued and she called me homophobic slurs (for some reason) and unfriended me. Did I start the drama, or did she?
