I finished reading Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”

… And i did not expect it to be that good. I had been previously holding it off for far too long for some reason i can’t recall. I was truly caught off guard with how much i loved it. To the point i (once again) did a deep dive into Mary Shelley’s life and obsessively watched videos about Gothic Literature. I found myself taken by images of cliffs, abandoned/destroyed castles, shipwrecks, beasts, a loner—anything that aroused awe and that feeling of melancholia in my soul. I don’t have much words to say but Mary Shelley was the original punk girl lol.

Although, jokes aside… what kept me incredibly fascinated by the story is my morbid curiosity about the appearance of Frankenstein’s creature. Because he’s been described as beautiful but also that he was hideous. I wanted to hear what other people’s interpretation or image of him was.
