I feel so lost.

I’m (25M) honestly not sure what direction my life is going right now and the biggest issue is that I can’t figure out what job would be best for me. Right after high school I joined the military and completed 4 years, then I went to a trade school to learn welding, and now I’m a full time student trying to get a degree in engineering but I’m not sure that it’s the right fit for me. I’ve always had people tell me that I should be an engineer because I love tinkering and understanding how things work but now I’m not so sure that engineering would be my ideal career. And besides that I’m not really sure what else would interest me. If anyone could provide some advice I would greatly appreciate it.
