I don't think we have just one defining moment to have an opportunity at something great.

I recently have watched two documentaries of amazing people and very well respected in their fields. They both describe this moment that got them into the field they are highly respected in and and make the same comment, that I wouldn't be here if that hadn't happened. I get that, that moment stands out to them because it's where they got that first experience into this world they are passionate about. However, isn't it possible that something else could have led them there eventually? If you are that incredible at it, wouldn't you like to think you would have more than one opportunity to find it. Even if you didn't find it, because of your personality and ability to excel and focus, maybe something else you stumbled upon would be equally great? Idk, I just think it's interesting how everyone kind of has that defining moment for where they are in life. I like to think that it would have found me eventually.
