What is the obsession with "business as usual?" "Life goes on." Is anybody having fun? At what point do we just stop pretending this is normal? I may become a highly unlikeable person because I'm losing empathy for people who are still asleep. People who refuse to see the plot. The key may be empathy, but I fear we're going to decorum/comfort ourselves into oblivion like Wall-E.
