Here’s mine:
January-February: Finances started falling due to unforeseen events back in ‘23 March: Husband got laid off. April-June: Mom got hospitalized, passed away last June. Bills / expenses were just everywhere. July: House mortgage was not being paid on time. Hence, bank seized the property. Husband still not getting hired despite several attempts of applying for a job. August: My mental health was on its lowest. Debts were piling. Had to live paycheck by paycheck yet not being able to pay debts in full. September: Husband finally got hired. On the other hand, I had several mental health breakdowns in between work days and day offs. Finally decided to quit that toxic job of almost 5 years to prioritize my sanity. October: Husband in charge of the paycheck for now. Had to move out, to a rental property. Still in the process of consolidating and paying remaining debts. Survival mode. November: Getting there yet not fully recovered from everything I’ve been through this year. ❤️🩹 December: Bring it on!
2024, I can say is my lowest year. Looking back, I wonder why I’m even here. ❤️🩹😭 Still thankful, a lot of lessons learned. The hard way. 🫠
