Finding a new job in a new state is hard, any suggestions?

For more details, I recently moved from Indiana to Arizona to live with my fiancé before he goes off to the Navy. I have been searching for a job in the city that we stay in but having no degree or any certifications I've found it to be a lot harder than I originally thought it would be. I've thought about taking all my past experience jobs off of my resume that say Indiana because maybe the employers think I accidently applied since all my past work is in that state. I have switched my confirmed address to Arizona so I'm not sure what else I could do to get a new job here. I'm 21 with experience working with mostly animals, kids and any kind of retail so I'm not sure why it's been so hard. Any tips would be appreciated as I am very lost at the moment :)
