Excited for my life

I’m 20yo and currently 450lbs. I have bariteic surgery scheduled in March and plan to hit my goal weight within 18-24 months. I’m beyond excited to start the process of taking my life back and getting all the experiences I’ve missed out on. There are some things that I won’t have a chance at like attending my high school graduation or going to prom but there’s so many others. I’m looking forward to wearing my dream outfit. Looking forward to driving a car and it being a comfortable experience. I’m excited to learn how to dance! And maybe learn an instrument again. The possibly of falling in love and having everything that comes with it. I’m so so SO beyond excited. I don’t have the vocabulary to describe the exact feeling but it need to put this somewhere lol. Beyond everything else though. I’m excited to be a dad. I don’t plan for that to happen for a long while but I’ve wanted to be a dad since I was an early teen. Specifically a girl dad. Weather or not I get married, there’s always adoption and such. I can’t wait to have those experiences of raising a child. Even the moments that I’ll hate in the moment but look back on years later with fondness. Hearing her voice for the first time, them learning to walk. First day of school. Etc etc etc. I just want to all and to have that chance of being a good dad.
