Entry level Fintech Roles in US

So I’m an international student and an IT engineer who’s doing his masters In finance from the University of Rochester and I wanted to get your opinions on if Fintech would be easier for me to rather than IB and Financial analyst role. I’m also open to guidance as to what roles are available at the entry level Fintech firms and what firms or startups (as fintech is an emerging industry) and how should I go on about the job hunt. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
