Dads homeless

So my dad is homeless, it’s been tough to watch him struggle the last couple years as I barely see him he seems to always be hanging around a sketchy people. I feel bad as I don’t have my own place I rent from a friend and it’s stressful knowing he will be sleeping outside in the winter. the third year of dealing with this I try and let him sleep in my car but that’s all I can do and it’s just a short term solution I do care and want to be able to help him. Does anybody have any advice tbh it’s hard knowing someone you care so much struggles so much but has a hard time focusing on the present and is always caught up in past issues.
