I have this girl in my department I’m currently crushing on and in the process of trying to get over.
I’ll spare y’all some lengths in this story but I did end up making out with this girl one night after grabbing drinks after work. She decided after we got around to talking about it that she wanted to just stay friends, since she said she was talking to some girl at the time. I respected it and kept it professional ever since.
Problem is the feelings haven’t gone away, and I gotta see this person almost every single day I work. This is not only the strongest I’ve felt over a crush but the hardest it’s been getting over one. I mean I’ve crushed on coworkers in the past but none of them took a mental toll on me like this one. On one hand the kiss was a nice moment i occasionally look back fondly on, on the other hand it didn’t help the already developing crush I had on her especially since it ultimately went nowhere. Shit sucks.
