Hello everybody, I was just thinking about what could have made life easier for me and for a lot of people, and I was thinking, what if you actually had a class at school that taught you how to act in social situations. We get taught on many subjects, but noone explains to us how to behave, and what is and isn't appropriate behaviour, making us have to figure that out all by yourself. For example, I didn't know for the longest time that I should ask my parents for advice on many different topics, nor whethet I should admit my mistakes to them or not. Next to that I would have liked to learn whether or not and how much it is socially acceptable to talk in class. My teachers told me not to talk whilst they explained stuff, and so I didn't, however others in the class did, and those have turned out to be way more socially adapt people than I am even though I followed the teacher's rules. Next to that, I would also have liked to learn to reflect in the future, think ahead about how I want my life to go. Just regular questions about how I am doing and hust generally to explain clearly what's on my mind, without having to wonder whether that's awkward to confess or not. Other thing that I would have liked to learn in life is that you shouldn't act on every single thought you have, your thoughts might wander into territories that it shouldn't and you should just avoid those things, but in order to avoid acting on the wrong thoughts you should be thought what the rules of everyday life are, hence this idea for a lesson about life.
