There's a guy named Bitwise. He’s been grinding—10-12 hour workdays, late nights studying to stay sharp. His career’s solid, money’s in the bank, but burnout’s sneaking up. He’s got almost no friends left, just a couple workaholics like him. He pushed so hard because he watched his parents struggle with money growing up, and he swore he’d never end up there. So he chose career and wealth over everything.
Now he’s seeing it: he could’ve slowed down. Kept some old pals, dated a bit, maybe found someone real. Fancy quarterly vacations that eas taking away burnout don’t cut it anymore. He’s proud, sure, but it’s lonely. Anyone else get this?
